Feeling a little blue today, I went to Hampstead and ate delicious frozen yoghurt with raspberries in the sun. Climbing Parliament Hill, the rattle of nearby rain rose to a wonderful crescendo as the drops started to fall. By the time I reached the top it was raining properly, and I stood on a bench looking out at the city below bathed in sunshine, as everyone around me melted away. When I was standing alone, I gathered all the bad feelings together, took a deep breath, and shouted it all out at the top of my voice. It was an exhilerating feeling, and I was smiling as I set off home across the Heath, seeing a rainbow on the way.
