With a quack quack here
Jul. 27th, 2008 05:19 pmI am currently LaTeXing a lot of equations into text, and consequently putting spaces and full stops after them, for which I type in the code "\,\,.". Every time I do this, I hum "e-i-e-i-o" in my head.
This reminds me of the old photocopier upstairs, which was operated with a 5-digit pin, after which you pressed an "ID" key, and finally, the photocopy button. The location of the numbers on the key pad meant that I always pressed them in the rhythm "x--x x-x-x ID ... COPY", which my brain always hummed as "Tie me kangaroo down, sport".
I don't know if there is a cure for this.
